Dogs are incorruptible, can detect intruders in conditions humans cannot, and be a great psychological deterrent to criminals.
Unlike a firearm, a dog cannot be used against its handler, and they provide an additional barrier that intruders need to disable. Dogs are “NOISY” and can be an excellent early warning mechanism, allowing guard’s time to call for backup, or raise the alarm.
